Welcome to Webdurance!
This summer, Newcastle will play host to the 24-hour website build, Webdurance... 36 web programmers, designers and writers will be locked up in a room and challenged to the task of creating brand-new websites for 6 regional charities.
Why?
We want to do some good! And we also want to show to the world that the North East has a great web-scene.
When?
July 15th & 16th, 2010
Are you interested?
Regardless of whether you would like to help out or not, please show your support by signing up as a member - you'll receive irregular updates on the progress of the event. If you want to help out, then go one step further and join the appropriate group: Volunteers, Sponsors and Charities.
Or a robot perhaps...Great news for any of our volunteers with a sweet tooth. Our friends at For Goodness Cakes (gotta love that name) will be making us a supercake - possibly in the style of our very own mascott! Please check these guys out if you would like a stunning cake for your wedding . Peruse wonderful cakes here .
To add a little razzle-dazzle and nonsense fun to the hack, we're having a cheeky awards ceremony during the 25th hour. Read about what we're awarding here.
